Deltamed will deliver 121 Type C ambulances to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), equipped with the 4RemoteHealth digital platform, developed by Spanish company Zerintia HealthTech.
The platform enables direct connection to the national health system’s servers and supports advanced teleassistance and real-time medical monitoring functions. This allows the new vehicles to transmit clinical data, images, and videos in real time to hospital medical staff.
Type C ambulances are built on MAN TGE chassis, well-known for their excellent Roadworthiness, and are additionally equipped with ultrasound devices to enable rapid diagnosis during transport.
They are manufactured in accordance with the European EN1789 standard at Deltamed’s production facility in Gilău, Cluj County, where everything is created from scratch, from concept and design to the finest execution details.
Currently, Deltamed operates in Bulgaria, Moldova, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, and Singapore. In 2024, it delivered 62 Type B ambulances to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova and received an order for 300 ambulances for Austria.
