Mobile accessories retailer Contakt is entering the Czech market and plans to open its first two stores in Prague, with launches scheduled for March 2026. The retailer is targeting rapid expansion, with a minimum of 10 stores in Czechia by the end of next year.
The company has already kicked off recruitment for its first local employees. Future Czech operations managers will undergo a three-month training program in Romania to replicate the business model that underpins the brand’s local performance.
For the first six months after launch, Contakt’s Romanian management team will be on the ground in Prague to support operations, analyze market specifics, calibrate demand and fine-tune the product offering.
The product portfolio entering the market will mirror the company’s best performers in Romania: premium screen-protection solutions such as PanzerGlass, the retailer’s own premium silicone films, and products from Czech partner Swissten.
